Creating a link to another page within my website

Answer:

To create a link to another page within your website:

1) Select the text you want to make into a link. Do that by dragging your cursor over the text and highlighting it. Make sure all of the text highlighted is the text you want to turn into a link.

2) While the text is highlighted, click the "Link to a Document" button in the editor's toolbar. Select the file (page) you want to link to from the list at the left of the popup window. This page's address will appear in the "Address" box. You can also manually type in the URL for your link.

3) Below the "address box" is a "title box". This allows you to create a small message when the cursor is placed over the link. Type in the message if desired, then click "OK"

4)) The "window" box, allows you to select the type of window that the link will open (ex: open in same window, open new window, etc.) Click the arrow at the right of this box to open the drop down menu. Select the type of window desired by clicking on it. If you want the link to open in the same window, then leave this to the default setting.

5) Once you have entered the appropriate information, click "OK" to set the link.
