Optimizing your page

Answer:

A good way optimize your web site so that the pages load quickly is to make your images the size that you want them to appear on your page BEFORE you upload them to your web host server with the Editor.   If you upload a large image, place it on a page, and then reduce it to the size you want, all of the information for the larger image is still there.  It is just compressed - you haven't actually reduced the number of pixels, which can take a long time to load.  It is best to reduce the image FIRST with image editing software such as Photoshop or Fireworks and then upload the file with the Editor.
