No Edit Mode Defined

Answer:

"There is no Edit Mode defined for this page."

This message indicates that the page you want to edit needs additional setup before you can edit it.

This situation occurs when you have set your Edit Mode to "Advanced" and Global Edit to "None". With these settings, the editor assumes that all pages are NOT editable UNLESS they have an "edit" tag inserted into the page's HTML. If no tag has been inserted, then the above message is displayed.

The Solution:

If you see this message, then you must do one of two things:

1) either change the Global Edit setting to "All" (this will assume that ALL pages are editable UNLESS otherwise indicated by a tag in the page's HTML.

OR

2) insert code into your page's HTML that tells the editor that the page is editable. Please see the FAQ on Edit Mode for full instructions.
